The Family Health Sciences Network (FHSN) was established in 2023 in response to the recognition that mothers, children, and adolescents living in urban and peri-urban / selected areas of Uganda were largely neglected or not accessing existing health care systems to respond to family health services. FHSP is a network of Public Health experts, Clinicians, Midwives and Social Scientists committed to promoting ways of improving the quality of health services in children, adolescents and their families in Uganda. With its easy access to highly skilled health professionals countrywide, FHSP combines local experience with best practices for the improvement of the health of women, children, adolescents and their families.

The organization consists of Subscribers, a Board of Directors, a Secretariat and staff members involved in providing and promoting quality health for women, children and adolescents in Uganda.
